Choose a category, answer timed multiple-choice questions, and build a score through accuracy, speed, streaks, and an optional final wager.
Open 9K Game Night and choose 9K Trivia. The available categories are Mixed, Science, Nature, World, Numbers, Games, and Arts. Games can contain 5, 8, or 12 questions, with 20, 30, or 45 seconds per question. For a first game, a short match with a longer timer gives everyone time to understand the screen before trying faster rounds.
Read the whole question and select one of the four answers. Correct answers earn 1,000 base points, plus up to 500 speed points depending on how much time remains. A wrong answer does not earn the correct-answer or speed points. Fast guessing is therefore not automatically better than taking a moment to read: an incorrect quick answer loses the base award too.
Consecutive correct answers add a streak bonus. The second correct answer in a row adds 100 points, the third adds 200, and longer streaks add up to 300 per answer. A wrong answer resets that streak. The result display separates the scoring parts, helping you see whether a lead came from accuracy, response speed, or a sustained streak.
When the final wager option is enabled, you can stake up to 1,000 of your existing points, limited by your current score. A correct final answer adds the stake; a wrong one subtracts it. Wagering zero keeps that part of your score safe, although opponents can still gain points. Choose the wager before answering and treat it as a game-score decision, not a real-money bet.
The answer reveal is a chance to understand a missed question before the next round. For group play, agree whether players should answer independently; calling out an answer removes the challenge for everyone else. If you report a questionable answer, include the exact question, displayed choices, category, and the answer that the game marked correct.
Normal wrong answers earn no answer points and reset the streak. A wrong answer can subtract an optional final wager, and the total score does not fall below zero.
